Our Policy on Refunds, Exchanges & Core Deposits

We offer refund and/or exchange within the first 15 days of your purchase, if 15 days have passed since your purchase, you will not be offered a refund and/or exchange of any kind.

Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges

  • Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • The item must be in the original packaging.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Only regular priced items may be refunded, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if authorized)

*Exchanges will be granted at the sole discretion of RECORE LANCASTER and will be subject to availability.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for a different item, first contact us for authorization, then send your item to:

Refunds are not granted

  • For any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • For any item that is returned more than 15 days after delivery of the original purchase.
  • For any item that shows signs of being installed/and/or used.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

  • If you have not received a refund within the time specified, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us.

  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable! If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Core Deposits

What is a core deposit?

The sale of a remanufactured part involves the price of the part itself, as well as an additional core deposit to encourage the return of the old part to continue the remanufacturing process.

The core deposit, or core charge, is a deposit you pay until you return your old part.

Some of our parts carry a required refundable core deposit. Cores must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase. Cores received after 30 days of the original purchase will automatically forfeit the deposit.

The core must accompany a purchase order or invoice to ensure proper credit. Cores may be disqualified for the following reasons. If a core does not qualify, the deposit will be forfeited.

Disqualifying Core Criteria

  • External/Physical Damage
  • Extensive Corrosion or Rust
  • Burned Beyond Repair
  • Fluid Contamination
  • Aftermarket Parts

Deposits for eligible cores will be refunded to the original credit card/payment method used for purchase.
